Working in Business Development here provides a compelling and lucrative opportunity for proven, quota-exceeding sales performers in the medical device engineering and manufacturing industry. Responsibilities include generating new business in the small- to mid-size company markets; representing Aubrey Group at marketing, networking, and industry events; developing and promoting positive relationships with multiple sources of referrals including investors, the venture community, academic institutions, entrepreneurs, and other business partners. Successful performers are well compensated.
Required Skills/Experience:
- Solid revenue achievement and forecasting abilities while simultaneously building satisfied, loyal, and referenceable customers.
- 5 or more years experience in engineering services sales to VP/CXO level executives.
- Background in inbound and outbound prospecting and closing new business consistent with overachievement of quota and revenue goals.
- Engineering degree needed.

PROJECT MANAGER/SYSTEMS ENGINEER (Electrical/Biomedical)
We are looking for a Project Manager/Systems Engineer with a background in electrical/electronics engineering or biomedical engineering. This individual will lead the development of client projects, function as Systems Engineer and technical leader, and support the product during and after it transitions to manufacturing.
In this position, the individual works closely with clients. He or she, in conjunction with the client, our in-house staff, and suppliers will develop the technical approach and create a project plan and proposal for the client project. During the project, the Project Manager/Systems Engineer will guide project development, achieving client objectives within the stated budget and schedule.
The successful candidate will serve as the engineering leader for the project and should be comfortable working with multidisciplinary projects that require electronic, electromechanical, and software engineering.
Primary Responsibilities
- Manage multi-disciplinary teams to develop (and possibly manufacture) complex medical products
- Act as system engineer on medical electronic and electromechanical projects; design the system and guide the engineering so
that the product delivers what is required for the client (features, reliability, and product cost) - Manage the project to schedule, budget, and requirements; alter the project as necessary to adapt to new knowledge and
changing requirements - Clearly communicate project status, priorities, issues and solutions, choices, tradeoffs, and changes in the project plan to the
client - Interact with internal departments and staff to resolve both technical and manpower allocation challenges
- Work with clients, internal staff, and suppliers to create proposals that satisfy client needs and generate new business for Aubrey
Group - Work with Aubrey Group staff and potential clients during the business development process to win the project
- Create development approaches and project plans that will provide the client with the deliverables, schedule, and cost that he/she requires
- Work with suppliers as required to achieve development and manufacturing objectives; establish relationships with key suppliers
- For projects involving manufacturing, manage the transition to manufacturing and support the product as required after production has started
Qualifications/Requirements/Skills
- Proven track record of successful project management
- Comfortable exerting influence without direct reporting relationships, and with delegating to others where appropriate
- Ability to make difficult decisions involving trade-offs and risk-benefits assessments
- Problem solving experience – can leverage own expertise and input from others to identify and resolve critical issues
- Experience managing external suppliers and partners and/or working in a virtual environment
- Bachelor or graduate degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or related field
- Experience in medical device development needed; experience with development of disposables would be a plus
- Excellent oral and written communications skills required; experience writing proposals a plus
- Experience with medical device manufacturing or manufacturing support would be a plus
